MSNBC has elected to air an NBC News special report rather than Morning Joe Monday morning after former President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt on Saturday.

The show, which features several panelists and has been critical of the former president, was not aired, but the show’s X account did say it would return on Tuesday. A CNN report alleges the network pulled the show Monday due to concerns about an inappropriate comment about the assassination attempt by one of the guests on the show.
