Most Insane Football Ending Ever? Watch How North Carolina State Manages to LOSE This Game While Holding the Ball and Leading With Just 6 SECONDS Left (VIDEO)

One of the wildest, most bizarre football endings in the history of the sport occurred Saturday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Vanderbilt Commodores hosted the North Carolina State Wolfpack in an SEC-ACC non-conference game that turned into an exciting back-and-forth contest with both squads trading touchdowns in the second half.
NC State had seemingly secured the victory after forcing a Vandy interception deep in Wolfpack territory as the Commodores were about to take the lead. The score at the time was 31-28, NC State.
With 6 seconds left on the clock and the ball on their own four-yard-line, all Wolfpack quarterback CJ Bailey had to do was run out of the endzone and take a safety. This would cut the lead to 31-30 but basically secure the win.
But as Bailey dropped back into the end zone, he started running around to kill the remaining time on the clock. Then a Vanderbilt player forced a fumble, which the Commodores recovered for a touchdown!
This gave Vandy a 34-31 lead with no time left on the clock as the crowd went berserk.

After further review, the officials upheld the touchdown ruling. They did, however, put 1 second back on the clock.
The Commodores then kicked the extra point to go up 35-31.
On the official final play of the game, NC State fumbled the ball on a hook-and-ladder play, giving Vandy the victory.
What happened on Saturday in this game may be something you never see again. But some would say this is just another day in college football.
