Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing featuring a former business partner of first son Hunter Biden connected enough dots for the first steps toward impeaching President Joe Biden to begin, according to critic Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
“Joe Biden should be impeached. There is no reason for him to be president of the United States. He’s engaged in extreme corruption through his business dealings with his son in the family business, Biden, Inc.,” Greene said following the hearing that featured testimony from Tony Bobulinski.
Greene has for two years called for Joe Biden’s impeachment and clearly feels that today’s testimony will spark greater interest by House Republicans to move on it.
Bobulinski’s testimony was the first of several public hearings planned by the Oversight Committee into allegations that Hunter Biden profited off his father’s name and used it with his father’s knowledge to push his way into lucrative deals overseas, especially in Communist China.

The hearing was sensational at times, with Bobulinski challenging Democrats and Democrats trying to shut him down.
In a statement on X, Greene boiled down what she saw were the main highlights.

“The most important thing you need to know is in 2016 Joe Biden told the press here in Washington — and it was reported in Time magazine — he said he is running for president in 2020. Joe Biden stated that in 2016. Fast forward to 2017 Hunter Biden then goes and pursues a business deal with the top officials in China,” the lawmaker said.
“This is extremely serious because not only did the press in Washington know that Joe Biden was running for president in 2020, so did China. China knew that Joe Biden was running for president in 2020,” she said, suggesting the country’s interest in doing business with Hunter Biden.
Greene then said Joe Biden’s policies have helped China, especially in the energy field.
“So I want you to look at the policy decisions that Joe Biden has made as president. He’s made every single decision to make America weak, to destroy America’s oil industry. And all of his decisions that he’s made for China and with sanctions on Russia have enriched and empowered China,” she said.
“This is all because Joe Biden is the brand. Joe Biden is the product and the service that Hunter Biden sells to the world. His chairman, in his own words, is his father, and that is exactly what we uncovered today in our oversight hearing,” she added.

On the social media platform, she also offered a written summation:
