At least 10 people were injured in a shooting at a Super Bowl victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs, authorities announced Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting occurred near Union Station, which was near the end of the parade. Kansas City Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins said there were a minimum of 10 people wounded, per the Daily Beast. The Kansas City Police Department announced two armed suspects had been taken into custody.
“Shots were fired west of Union Station near the garage and multiple people were struck,” the KCPD announced on X, formerly known as Twitter. “We took two armed people into custody for more investigation.”
Videos posted on social media showed heavily armed police entering Union Station, with a panicked crowd fleeing.

Family members of Chiefs receiver Justin Watson were in the station at the time of the shooting, but they were unharmed, they told WTAE.
