MILWAUKEE— Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley came out with a forceful endorsement of her former boss Donald Trump during the Republican National Convention Tuesday evening. Yet she also attempted to persuade GOP voters weary of Trump to back him once again.
“President Trump asked me to speak to this convention in the name of unity,” Haley said to roaring applause. “It was a gracious invitation and I was happy to accept.”
“I’ll start by making one thing perfectly clear, Donald Trump has my strong endorsement period,” Haley continued unequivocally throwing her weight behind Trump.

The Biden campaign has attempted to court unsatisfied Haley supporters who continued to back the South Carolina lawmaker even after she dropped out of the 2024 race. But Haley has declared that she is voting for Trump and released her 97 delegates to Trump previously.
Haley spoke on the same night as former primary rivals Vivek Ramaswamy and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in a show of GOP unity after a contentious primary season.
