Davis was initially booked for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and was given a $1 million bond, KOCO News reported.
One other suspect is presumed at large, according to the outlet.
The party had been widely advertised online despite being “unsanctioned” and “not a permitted or reserved gathering,” the EPD said in a previous statement.
Many young people were present at the party, according to the EPD. Several of the injured were taken to hospitals in the area while others opted to get treatment on their own. There were varying degrees of severity of the injuries, which included gunshot wounds, the EPD added. The Oklahoma City Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol assisted the EPD at the scene.
At least 80 rounds were allegedly fired in the shooting, which resulted from a fight by rival gangs at the party, KOCO News reported, citing an affidavit.
The police allegedly found a “rifle light, .40, and 7.62 caliber ammunition” at Davis’ home, the outlet reported. The brand of 7.62 ammunition “matched the same brand of ammunition of several of the 7.62 spent cartridge casings that had been recovered at the crime scene,” the outlet additionally quoted from the affidavit.
