Ousted George Santos continues Cameo appearances with new Christmas-themed videos: ‘Santos Claus is coming to town!’

George Santos is spreading holiday cheer with special Christmas-themed Cameo video appearances.

“Well, guess what time of year it is, y’all? It’s time for … Santos Claus!” the former New York Republican congressman said in a social media post promoting his Cameo site. “For a very limited time, I’ll be doing Cameos to bring Christmas cheer to all your faces!”

Santos added, “Stay sassy and classy, folks! Let’s go make Christmas great again!”

Cameo is a website where people can pay high-profile celebrities, including actors, reality stars, athletes, comedians, and musicians, to share a message to a friend, co-worker, or loved one for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Santos had previously charged $150-$200 per video, but now his videos have risen to $500.

The 35-year-old has threatened to sue late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and ABC for allegedly misusing his Cameo clips. He has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Kimmel’s show.

“We are writing to congratulate you — your ‘dream’ of being sued by Mr. Santos may indeed come true,” Santos lawyer Andrew Mancilla said in the legal letter.

His lawyer continued, “While your comedic efforts are much appreciated, you should have obtained Mr. Santos’ consent, as he is not camera shy, nor is he blind to the comedic irony of suing you for fraud.”

Santos is currently facing 23 charges for two counts of wire fraud, two counts of making materially false statements to the Federal Election Commission, two counts of falsifying records submitted to obstruct the FEC, two counts of aggravated identity theft, and one count of access device fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York said in October.

In a historic vote earlier this month, the House of Representatives voted to expel Santos from Congress, making him just the sixth member of the House to face that punishment.

In a Monday interview with comedian Ziwe, Santos responded to his fellow House members expelling him.

“I’ll be back. … I’m 35. They’re all in their 50s. I’ll outlive them,” he said as he suggested another run for office in the future.

In a question about whether he would join Dancing with the Stars as a possible gig, Santos responded, “I’ll pass.”

Santos addressed previously dressing up as a drag queen.

“Are you alt-right for clout, or do you believe drag queens are a greater threat to children than guns?” Ziwe asked Santos.

“I love drag queens. Let’s set the record straight. I don’t like drag queens for kids,” Santos said.

Ziwe pressed him, “You said that they were worse for children than guns.”

“I still think drag queens are not for kids,” Santos replied.

Santos pushed back, “Then why are there drag queen story hours?”
