Pawn Stars star Rick Harrison decries border crisis after son’s fentanyl overdose

Pawn Stars star and patriarch Rick Harrison decried the border crisis under President Joe Biden for the fentanyl-related death of his 39-year-old son Adam.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick Harrison said in a statement to Fox News.

“The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Although the details about Adam’s death were not immediately confirmed, a representative for the family confirmed the 39-year-old succumbed to an overdose on Friday, according to a report.

“The family is greatly saddened at his loss and asks for privacy as they grieve,” the representative said.

The overdose took place in Las Vegas, and Rick Harrison posted a short message to his Instagram account.

“You will always be in my heart!” he wrote. “I love you Adam.”

Though not featured in Pawn Stars, a reality TV show produced by the History Channel that tells the story of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, Adam purportedly worked for the family business.
