Putin says Russia does not plan to attack NATO countries because it would go against common sense**
In a recent interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed growing international concerns about a potential Russian invasion of NATO countries, stating that such a scenario would be completely irrational. According to Putin, Russia has no interest in expanding its borders into Poland, Latvia, or any other NATO member, despite constant speculation and media warnings fueling the narrative of an imminent Russian threat.
Putin explained that reports about a possible Russian invasion of Poland and other Baltic countries are simply intimidation tactics designed to keep the Western population in a constant state of fear and alertness. He emphasized that, in practice, Russia has no motivation to engage in a confrontation with NATO, as Moscow’s strategic interests do not include occupying territories like Poland or Latvia. The Russian president was adamant that the only scenario in which Russia would consider military action in the region is if Poland were to attack Russia, a situation he believes is out of the question.
Putin’s stance contrasts with the constant warnings from Western leaders, who have cited Russia’s territorial expansion as the basis for imposing economic sanctions and strengthening NATO defenses. However, the Russian president rejected the accusations of expansionism, arguing that claims about his territorial intentions are baseless and rooted in alarmism and propaganda.
Putin also referenced Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a topic that remains one of the most controversial in global politics. While many international analysts believe Russia has territorial claims across parts of the continent, Putin was firm in asserting that he does not intend to expand Russia’s borders into other countries, much less provoke a global war. In fact, he pointed out that the idea of a global war is completely absurd and goes against common sense, as a global war could bring humanity to the brink of destruction.
The Russian leader also criticized what he described as the United States and its European allies’ strategy, claiming they are using the fear of a nuclear war to extort Western taxpayers and justify the allocation of more financial and material resources to the conflict in Ukraine. According to Putin, the media has fed into this narrative by making constant alarmist predictions about Russia using tactical nuclear weapons, which he believes is a tactic to manipulate Western nations and force them to become further involved in the conflict.
Putin made it clear that the goal of these actions is to weaken Russia as much as possible, adding that this strategy not only endangers global stability but is also escalating tensions between Russia and the West. At the same time, Putin urged world leaders to approach global issues more rationally, without succumbing to alarmism and media manipulation.
In conclusion, Putin firmly rejected accusations of territorial expansion and made it clear that Russia has no intention of engaging in war with NATO. Although his message is not new, it remains a direct response to the growing tensions in Eastern Europe and the accusations that Russia seeks to reconstitute the Soviet empire. Meanwhile, the world continues to closely monitor the situation in Ukraine and the potential global security implications.

«Common sense» is one thing among many that the Left and RINO Republicans do not have.
i do like Putin
«I could attack Europe, I could probably take Europe…except for the part about it being just plain stupid.»
Putin is not only a son of a b****, but a pragmatic son of a b***.!!!
Russia has been attacked on their western border from one European power or another, sometimes a coalition of European powers, consistently for centuries, not the other way around. History shows who is a threat to who so it shouldn’t be surprising that Russia is now saying NATO has gone too far moving to their border.
Funny. I said the same thing this morning! Why would Putin want a Mausoleum overrun by Muslims?
Trusting a guy who plays liars poker and always wins; because he never shows his hand, just declares himself the winner.
And yet the MSM will continue to say Trump and Putin bad… The left always accuses the right of what they are or are doing.
