Internet users’ humor seems pretty much invincible.

By all rights, people online had all the right to be gloomy, and even with a touch of panic about them, as the exchange of missile and drone strikes goes into overdrive, not only between the US, Israel, and Iran, but also Russia versus Ukraine, Pakistan against Afghanistan…

But, as much as we feel like criticizing some people’s behavior online, it’s also true that many people display a capacity for grace under pressure, using humor to face even the harshest reality of an impending WW3.

In the last few days, a viral meme trend has arisen that’s a good example of that: social media users are posting humorous content about how North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong-un, who Donald J. Trump hilariously nicknamed ‘Rocket Man’, is sad and lonely because everyone is trading missile strikes but him.
