ROOKE: Pro-Palestinian Group Calls For Treason Against US In Creative But Definitely Illegal Way

A speaker at the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit, Michigan, gave step-by-step instructions Friday for radicals to use to target shipments of critical U.S. military equipment used in the F-35 fighter jet.

Aisha Nizar, an organizer with the Palestinian Youth Movement, called for a global demand for an arms embargo, setting their sights on the U.S. military and commercial shipping companies, while expanding on the “Mask off Maersk” campaign the group pushed over the last year.

Nizar said that members of the pro-Palestine movement need to target “very vulnerable supply chains” that the Maersk shipping company helps strengthen, adding that parts for the F-35 are among those susceptible to their “bold” action.

“What we learned,” Nizar said, referring to the campaign, “was that we really need to start identifying what these supply chains are, how they function, how our infrastructure is complicit in this, and illuminate a larger system that provides us an avenue to materially stop this genocide from everyday workers,”

She continued:

“There’s a couple different ways that commercial shipping companies participate in the arms trade. I talked about the Maritime Security Program. They also have these things that are like weapons depots, that they house all of the different weapons, and that they then transfer to Israel, whether that’s coming from the DLA warehouse outside of the Bay Area or the Interglobal Forwarding Services outside of New Jersey. But they also participate in very vulnerable supply chains, and I want to talk about the F-35 supply chain because I think that this is something that is so critical for the movement to understand if we want to actually intervene.”

The F-35 is famously known as the aircraft capable of carrying the “bunker buster” bombs. It is considered critical to U.S. national security, with several branches of the U.S. military utilizing the F-35: the Air Force operates the F-35A, the Navy operates the F-35C, and the Marine Corps operates the F-35B. It is considered a multi-role fighter due to its versatile mission capabilities, ranging from air-to-air combat to ground combat. It has fifth-generation stealth technology and is used to collect, process, and share critical information with command centers and allied forces. (Sign up for Mary Rooke’s weekly newsletter here!)

Nizar urges members of her movement to help their group understand that if they stop the supply chain from transporting the F-35’s different components, they can effectively prevent the U.S. government from using them in military operations overseas.

“So what I am saying to y’all is that if one specific node of the F-35 supply chain is intervened in, it has a huge impact on our people back home,” Nizar said.

“We need to be surgical,” she added. “We need to be strategic, and we need to be bold in our actions. Because there are many different points of these supply chains of death that we can intervene in, and we must intervene in. And we can tangibly stop the genocide.”

🎯 Aisha Nizar: “Maersk Is a Target”

We cannot allow an anti-American group to broadcast to the world how to disrupt crucial national security supply chains.

It’s naive to believe that members of this radical movement are elitist rich kids looking for their next social justice cause to rally for, now that BLM has become unfashionable. Nizar and the rest of the panel aren’t speaking in hypotheticals, and their rhetoric goes far beyond preventing military aid to Israel. They are talking about stopping the U.S. military from being able to protect America at home by claiming their point is to disrupt our allies abroad.

Treason is the only crime specifically defined in the U.S. Constitution for a reason. Our Founding Fathers felt the act deserved a clear definition to protect against political misuse and the people from domestic enemies working against our country. The Constitution defines treason in Article III, Section 3 as the act of levying war against the United States or adhering to its enemies, giving them aid and comfort, and carries a punishment of 5 years in prison, a minimum fine of $10,000, and even death. It’s time our government acts to protect our national security against Nizar and others who would take so-called “bold action” against our ability to defend ourselves against enemy combatants. The U.S. has real enemies, whether in China, Russia, or the Middle East, that would use this information to weaken us. The U.S. also has real enemies within the country.
