Savannah Guthrie

The brother of “Today” host Savannah Guthrie issued a video statement Thursday appealing to Nancy Guthrie’s captors to make contact.

“This is Cameron Guthrie, I’m speaking for the Guthrie family,” he said in the heart-wrenching statement.

“Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you, Cameron said.

The video was released after the first deadline in a ransom note allegedly sent to TMZ had passed.

He continued, “We haven’t heard anything directly.”

“We need you to reach out and we need a way to communicate to you so we can move forward,” Cameron said.

“But first we have to know that you have our mom.”

Cameron made it clear that he and his family were willing to move forward, but didn’t know how to do so.

“We want to talk to you and we are waiting for contact,” he said, before signing off.

Cameron’s statement was issued just one day after he appeared alongside his sisters Annie and Savannah in a separate plea to bring their mother home.

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has been missing from her home since Sunday, and requires medication to survive. (RELATED: Elizabeth Smart’s Father Addresses Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance)

Pima County Police confirmed Thursday that blood found on the doorstep of her home was indeed Nancy’s blood.

Police have no suspects at this time.
