Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has warned his party against embracing the rioters in Los Angeles.

Posting on the X platform, Fetterman said that his party “loses the moral high ground” when they refuse to condemn violence on the streets of America.

“I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that,” he wrote. “This is anarchy and true chaos.”

“My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.”

The likes of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy showed their support for Fetterman, with the former posting an American flag underneath his tweet.

Fetterman’s comments come as most Democrats rally around the rioters, seeing them as their foot soldiers in the fight against President Trump’s immigration agenda.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich described Fetterman’s intervention as a “wake up call” for left-wing Democrats.

“This is a wake up call for many Democrats: there is no room for you in the party of Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris.”

“Their self-obsessed pursuits of power are blind to you and your concerns. They defend chaos, reject biology, and are unbothered by the invasion of our nation.”

Just like the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, the riots in Los Angeles are an excuse for those involved to commit every type of crime.

Protesters have attacked law enforcement, committed arson, and looted local businesses.

Meanwhile, Democrats are still claiming the protests are “mostly peaceful.”
