‘THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM IS CONGRESS’ FECKLESSNESS!’: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – Gateway Hispanic

‘THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM IS CONGRESS’ FECKLESSNESS!’: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just demanded Congress strip the broad authority from federal judges impeding Trump.

I love the way this guy thinks. He invoked what President Jefferson did: ELIMINATE THEM and start fresh.

«[Congress hasn’t] done that. They haven’t been aggressive on it, but that’s plain in the constitution. When Jefferson became president, they had problems with judges. They just eliminated these judgeships that they had problems with. They didn’t even bother.»

«Are we ruled by the consent of the governed under elections and under a written constitution, or are we ruled by a district judge in DC, Hawaii, wherever the h*ll they can shop for a judge to find somebody, and then that trumps everything that is in the constitution in terms of executive powers… because that’s what they’ll keep doing if you let that happen.»

«The US Supreme Court needs to put a kibosh on it. I I mean, forget about just whether a judge should even be involved in this to begin with.»

Clearly, if you have one case, judge rules against the government, that shouldn’t be a nationwide injunction where the government can’t act in all the other 99.9% of the cases […] Congress, people say all these courts are out of control. They’ve been out of control for a long time. It got worse under Trump 45.»

«We knew this was gonna happen. Like, this is the most predictable thing that this is what the left would do. Congress has the authority to strip the courts of jurisdiction over certain issues. They can say ‘you can’t hear any case involving the removal of an illegal alien or the removal of certain classes.’ They could do that, if they wanted to do it.»

«The root of the problem is Congress’ fecklessness.»

«If they don’t put the kibosh on this, then you’re just gonna have four years of trying to find the most liberal judge you can, file a lawsuit. They’ll say nationwide injunction, and then your hands are tied from doing the job that the American people elected the president to do.» –

  1. Saying Congress is ‘feckless’ is putting it lightly. Most of Congress are beholding to the donor class. Some are fearful of the deep state ‘getting them from six ways to Sunday’ while there are likely a good number who are straight up under blackmail.

  2. congress is too corrupt, they should be investigated for their corruption…check their bank balances and off shore accounts…

  3. I wasn’t sure so I had to check. Fecklessness does not mean corrupt and/or whatever label you wish to put on being paid a sum of money either directly or indirectly or being promised position or status for following a certain political agenda.

  4. In problem solving you need to ask multiple ‘why’ questions.
    1. Why is congress feckless?
    A. Because they can’t form a majority on the issue.
    2. Why can’t they form a majority on the issue?
    A. Because they need all party members vote.
    3. Why can’t they get every party member vote?
    A. Because there are a few party members who hold back committing to the issue.
    4. Why do the few hold back on the issue.
    A. Because they know that the more party members who sign on supporting the issue the more bargaining power they have for their own selfish aggrandizement.

Always look to the last few who sign on for support. They are the feckless ones.

  5. And then we have AG Pam Bondi who just this morning stated that they are going to fight this in the courts. Talk about feckless!!
