The entire Chines military is «tofu dreg» construction. If you don’t know what that is look it up.
It’s ridiculous to compare numbers of ships. The US Navy are sitting ducks for hypersonic missiles. The only thing the Chinese fear from the US Navy are our submarines and those are too few and 40% are in dry dock for repairs and lacking properly trained crews.
