The View lamented that former President Donald Trump currently has no plans to visit Israel, which was recently attacked by the Hamas terrorist group.
The hosts discussed the current state of the world and how it is important to have “somebody with experience” in foreign policy. Joy Behar talked about how experience is an area that President Joe Biden excels in.

“At least he’s coming from years and years of experience in politics,” said Joy Behar, one of the hosts of the show. “The man is empathetic, he’s smart, he’s brave, he’s going to Israel. I don’t see Trump getting on a plane.”
Biden’s visit to Israel is scheduled for Wednesday and is intended to reaffirm the United States’s “solidarity with Israel.” Biden will also visit Amman, where he will be hosted by the king of Jordan and meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi but not Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has canceled a scheduled meeting.
Trump, who is running for president again in 2024, has not been a stranger to visiting areas of need, as he visited East Palestine, Ohio, earlier this year after a train derailment released toxic chemicals into the village’s nearby waters.

The former president was recently criticized over comments he made last week praising the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah as “very smart.” Trump also recalled “a bad experience with Israel as president,” claiming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “let us down” when he decided against participating in the U.S. drone strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani in 2020.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Trump’s biggest opponent in the primary, has pledged to “stand with Israel and treat terrorists like the scum that they are” if he is elected president, denouncing Trump’s comments on Hezbollah and Netanyahu.
