Tom Brady’s jersey from the last game of his unparalleled career is expected to fetch up to $2.5 million when it sells at auction in Las Vegas next month.

Brady, known by fans as the “GOAT,” or greatest of all time, played the final game of his 23-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his iconic No. 12 jersey from that game will be the feature of a Nov. 17 auction held by RM Sotheby’s and Wynn Las Vegas in cooperation with the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, according to a report.

The listed price for the jersey of the seven-time Super Bowl champion is ranged from $1.5 million to $2.5 million, and, if sold for the right price, it could become the most valuable football jersey ever sold at auction.

That record is currently held by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana’s Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XXIII jersey, which fetched $1,212,000 earlier this year, the report noted.

Brady’s jersey was worn in his last game on Jan. 16 against the Dallas Cowboys.

“The jersey is in excellent condition consistent with game use, showing visible grass stains and field marks,” according to RM Sotheby’s.

“There are only a few athletes who are universally accepted as the greatest in their sport: Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Muhammed Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Babe Ruth — and Tom Brady.”
