TRUDEAU SURRENDERS TO TRUMP! Canada declares Mexican cartels terrorists in a stunning turnaround.
This February, Canada, led by the once-untouchable progressive darling Justin Trudeau, pulled a move no one saw coming: it caved to President Donald Trump’s pressure and classified five Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations.
That’s right—the Sinaloa Cartel, Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), Gulf Cartel, New Michoacán Family, and United Cartels now share a list with the likes of Hezbollah and Hamas. According to Canada’s Public Safety Minister David McGuinty, this move aims to choke off the fentanyl flow and arm police with legal tools to crush these mafias.
The World Trembles: Cartels are now terrorists.
But let’s not kid ourselves: this wasn’t Trudeau’s epiphany. It was a total surrender to Trump, who, since his January 20 inauguration, has made crushing the cartels his top priority.
Just a day earlier, on February 19, the U.S. State Department, under Marco Rubio’s leadership, had already branded eight Latin American criminal groups as terrorists, including the Mexican cartels named above.
Trump, with his relentless style, threatened Canada and Mexico with 25% tariffs if they didn’t fall in line with his anti-drug crusade. And Trudeau—the hug-loving, selfie-obsessed hero—folded like a cheap suit.
Canada’s decision came with a bonus announcement: 10,000 troops to guard its U.S. border, a direct echo of Trump’s demands.
Meanwhile, Mexico, under the leftist grip of Claudia Sheinbaum, is throwing a tantrum, crying “sovereignty violations.” The result? Canada aligns with Trump’s hard-right stance, leaving Mexico’s 4T as the lone clown in a circus refusing to face reality.

The Timeline of Progressive Surrender.
It all started with Trump signing Executive Order 14157 on January 20, 2025, the day he took office.
That decree ordered the State Department to evaluate cartels as terrorists—a campaign promise the left mocked as “fantasy.”
One month later, on February 20, the list was ready: Sinaloa, CJNG, Gulf, and others, officially terrorists. The White House says the goal is to freeze assets, block revenue, and greenlight aggressive counterterrorism ops.
Canada initially seemed to resist. Trudeau, king of multiculturalism and human rights crocodile tears, dodged the issue. But on February 3, after a direct tariff threat, he changed his tune. He promised to join the designation and beef up his border.
By February 20, it was official: seven groups, five of them Mexican, were terrorists under Canada’s Criminal Code.
Trump’s pressure worked like clockwork. While Mexico flails with cries of “cooperation, not subordination,” Canada realized there’s no room for fence-sitters in this war. And Trudeau, with his woke posturing, had to swallow his pride and follow the leader of the free world.

Mexico: The Bastion of Leftist Ineptitude.
Contrast this with Mexico’s response. Sheinbaum, AMLO’s disciple, reacted like a true leftist: with victimhood and empty threats.
On February 20, after the U.S. designation, she announced constitutional reforms to “protect sovereignty” and vowed lawsuits against U.S. gunmakers. Her argument? Labeling cartels as terrorists opens the door to a “Yankee invasion.”
But the reality is stark. Mexico is the epicenter of fentanyl killing tens of thousands in the U.S. annually—more than car accidents, shootings, or suicides. Cartels operate with impunity under a government that prefers “hugs, not bullets.” Guanajuato, the country’s most violent state, is a warzone between CJNG and Santa Rosa de Lima.
While Trump and Trudeau act, Sheinbaum hides behind sovereignty speeches that fool no one.
Fentayl terrorist haven money laundering corruption at highest levels of government foreign influence triads & cartel. US complaints for years no action by Canada. The US has had enough and will break our economy so we agree to join. The US will not tolerate this on north border. https://t.co/fxQYgIchPn

The Left: Exposed and Defeated.
This episode unmasks the global left. Trudeau, progressive poster boy, surrendered to Trump’s conservative logic: force, not pretty words, stops criminals.
In Mexico, the 4T proves its “peace” rhetoric is just an excuse for complicity. As Lilly Téllez put it: Sheinbaum resists cooperation because she’s shielding a “narco-state.” And she’s right.
The terrorist designation isn’t a whim. It gives police power to dismantle financial networks and punish supporters. It’s practical, not ideological.
But the left, obsessed with its “non-intervention” narrative, would rather watch the world burn than admit Trump’s right.

The Left: A Joke Without a Punchline.
So here we are: Trump sets the agenda, Canada obeys, and Mexico whimpers in the corner like a spoiled brat who won’t play by the rules.
The left, with its cardboard pacifism and hollow sovereignty rants, is what it is: a bunch of clowns without a circus.
Trudeau, the rainbow-march heartthrob, knelt before the conservative lion.
Sheinbaum, meanwhile, keeps hugging cartels as fentanyl floods borders.
What’s the lesson? The right acts while the left stammers. Trump, with his iron fist, is cleaning up the mess progressives let fester.
So, friends, laugh loud: the left tried to save the world with hugs and ended up dancing to the conservative drumbeat. What a pathetic show!
