Trump campaign takes dig at Harris with mock policy page – Washington Examiner

Vice President Kamala Harris now has a policy page — created by former President Donald Trump.

The Trump campaign has joined other Republicans in criticizing Harris for not creating the page on her campaign website, part of a larger critique that her White House run is so far light on substance.

Harris has waded into economic policy in recent days, rolling out a plan to eliminate taxes on tips, pledging to fight what she describes as price gouging at grocery stores, and calling for new housing subsidies, among other things. But she has not released a detailed policy plan.

“Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement highlighting the satirical page. “Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals.”

The site, KamalaPolicies2024.com, includes the tagline, “Kamala Harris’s dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about” alongside photos of her appearing to laugh.

It also features a campaign ad describing Harris as “weak, failed, and dangerously liberal.”

“She is so radical that she makes ‘the Squad’ look like moderates,” the site reads.

Among the “policies” advertised are “fighting to set murderers free,” “abolish borders,” “give Social Security and Medicare to illegal aliens,” and “more taxes to ensure the middle class pays their ‘fair share.’” Each can be clicked through to reveal more details.

Trump’s campaign website does feature a policy platform dubbed Agenda 47, though Democrats have focused much more attention on tying the former president to an outside platform, Project 2025, which was created by the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank.

The Washington Examiner has contacted the Harris campaign for comment.
