Continuing an October trend, former President Donald Trump has widened his lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in the latest Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll.

In the survey, Trump leads Harris among Hispanic voters, 49%-45%, and he is winning 32% of the black vote.

Rasmussen shifted just last week to producing a daily presidential election tracking poll and enlarged its survey sample on Monday to 3,384 likely voters, giving it a margin of error of plus or minus 1 point. It has kept with its model for the 2020 election by including 35% of Democrats, 33% of Republicans, and 32% of independents.

Other surveys also show a Trump edge over Harris. Rasmussen has had Trump up over Harris for six weeks.

Trump has been basking in the recent surge in polls, displaying a new swagger and confidence while on the campaign trail. He has even added a bigger degree of humor while Harris has turned angry.

Just on Sunday, for example, Trump manned a McDonald’s fryer and attended a Pittsburgh Steelers game.
