Trump Winery’s expansion to cidery business to open this week – Washington Examiner

The Trump family announced on social media that the long-awaited opening of its cidery is scheduled for this Friday.

Eric Trump showed off the new cidery’s logo on social media, which marks an expansion of the family’s winery business. The former president’s son is the owner of Trump Winery, which is located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“Our wonderful team at @trumpwinery has launched an incredible Cider that will be available to try at home very soon!” Trump wrote on Instagram. “In the meantime, go visit our Cidery and try our favorite flavors.”

The winery had been purchased by former President Donald Trump in 2011, who later chose to give it to his son. The winery’s property was previously owned by Patricia Kluge, who turned it into a vineyard and winery in 1999.

Eric Trump also shared photos of some of the cider flavors that will be available at this cidery, including “Apple-Achian” and “Pursuit of Hoppiness.” The cidery has also uploaded a video giving a brief tour of the new location.

The former president’s son has been a vocal supporter of his father amid his 2024 reelection bid and has greatly condemned the guilty verdict in his father’s hush money trial. Eric Trump contended on Sunday that the swing from independent voters in support of his father has been “unbelievably” high, adding that his father is receiving support from “certain segments of the population” who might not have previously supported him in 2016 and 2020.
