Update: Lockdown Lifted Amid Reports of Active Shooter at University of Tennessee in Chattanooga

Update: The lockdown has been lifted after police confirmed there was no active shooter.

There are reports of an active shooter on the campus of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga on Thursday afternoon.

Students and staff were told to ‘run, hide or fight’ in an alert issued campus-wide.

There are reports of a possible shooter in the library.

Police say they have not located any victims at this time.
