UPDATED: Hostage Situation Unfolding in Las Vegas after Cybertruck Explosion (VIDEO)

UPDATE: Las Vegas authorities successfully resolved a four-hour standoff involving an individual who had barricaded themselves inside a bus near Fremont Street and Atlantic Street.

According to KTNV, LVMP said a person with a knife is threatening others.

Metro police reported that the individual barricaded inside a bus had been safely taken into custody without any further incidents.

A potential hostage situation is unfolding in Las Vegas near Fremont Street on Wednesday evening.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, law enforcement is investigating a person barricaded on a bus near Fremont and Charleston Blvd.

SWAT and crisis negotiators are on the scene.

Police urged people to avoid the area.

Video of the heavy police presence was posted to X on Wednesday evening.

The hostage situation comes after a Cybertruck exploded in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas.
