Police are still looking for the woman who assaulted pro-life activist Savannah Craven on camera in Harlem on Thursday, sending her to the hospital and forcing her to get stitches.
Craven, a pro-life content creator for Live Action, was conducting man on the street interviews about abortion in Harlem, New York when a large pro-abortion woman hit her in the face twice, first with her fist and then with her phone, Craven told the Daily Caller.
Craven had been interviewing the woman for over 20 minutes and it was all cordial until the moment she snapped. The woman had previously advocated to Craven that she wanted to kill all kids in foster care so they wouldn’t get abused, Craven told the Caller.
When Craven pressed the woman on this point, she physically lashed out.
“I think that you just don’t understand the magnitude of having a child.” the woman said.
“I’m not the one who admitted they’d be ok with killing babies in foster care and killing children that have been abused,” Craven snapped back.
“That’s not the point!” the woman exclaimed before striking Craven in the face.
After the camera stopped rolling, Craven’s husband, who was filming, intervened to stop the assailant from further violence. (RELATED: WEEKEND OF ‘INTIMIDATION’: Abortion Activists Descend On Justices’ Homes As Vandals Hit Churches, Pro-Life Groups)
“After she punched me and then hit me with her phone, she kind of backed up to launch at me, and thank God my wonderful husband, who’s also my cameraman, he went in and blocked her from me and pushed her and tried to get her away from me,” Craven told the Caller.
The assailant stormed off. After Craven’s husband made sure she was ok, the pair went off to search for the assailant, but to no avail. The New York Police Department’s (NYPD) 20th precinct detective unit are actively investigating the incident, an NYPD spokesperson told the Caller.
Craven received two stitches in her face at the hospital.
“This is just the left at this point,” Craven quipped. “They are super intolerant of anyone who doesn’t agree with everything, especially people that are super pro-abortion supporters, that go out to these events that support Planned Parenthood. They don’t care about women. They actually hate women. They hate children, they hate life, they hate their own life, and so they want to destroy anybody else’s happiness, anybody else’s life,” she continued.

She pointed out the violence and property destruction rampant in the ongoing anti-Elon Musk and Tesla protests and juxtaposed them with nonviolent rightwing boycotts.
“Just look at when we wanted to boycott Bud Light after that transgender person was the spokesperson for them. We didn’t start burning down Bud Light buildings. We didn’t start attacking people that were drinking Bud Light out in public,” she told the Caller.
“What they’re doing is they’re ruining other people’s property. They’re setting property on fire. They are really negatively affecting everyday people’s lives that might not even support Trump. They’re always turning to violence, no matter what that is, the way that they handle things because they are so out of touch, they cannot control their emotions, they’re cry babies, they act like little children when they don’t get their way.”
She also noted that she’s seen this violent trend across leftists broadly. (RELATED: DOJ Pledges To End ‘Weaponization’ Of FACE Act, Drop Three Ongoing Cases)
“The left is always saying the right is so hateful. They’re homophobic, they’re xenophobic, they’re all the phobics. They’re the ones who are destroying democracy and destroying society and are so intolerant and not inclusive. But yet, whenever I go to these events, it’s always these liberals. When I’m out in public, it’s always liberals who are treating me like this,” she told the Caller.
Craven is recovering after receiving her stitches. While slightly shaken up, she told the Caller she feels blessed that she wasn’t more badly injured. She does not plan to stop being a pro-life activist or stop conducting man on the street interviews. She did note that she will likely hire extra security going forward, and has opened a Patreon page to fund the added muscle.
