Virginia law enforcement collaboration sees 66,000 fentanyl pills and weapons stash seized in bust

A joint effort by law enforcement agencies in Virginia Tuesday saw the arrest of at least four people and the seizure of cash, jewelry, fentanyl, and firearms.

The seizure occurred after authorities carried out a search warrant in Manassas, according to a report.

When law enforcement officials confronted the suspects, all four were purportedly armed and carrying narcotics.

More drugs and firearms were discovered during the conduction of a search warrant.

In the end, $6,500 in cash, 66,000 fentanyl pills, 40 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 2,300 grams of marijuana, $40,000 in high-end jewelry, 142 grams of cocaine, and six firearms were captured by law enforcement, the report noted.

All four suspects are facing charges related to the distribution of narcotics, possession of narcotics while having a firearm, and possession of a firearm while having a felony status.
