Voter goes viral for saying he voted for Harris so girlfriend wouldn’t break up with him

A voter in North Carolina claimed he made a last-minute vote for Vice President Kamala Harris due to his girlfriend threatening to break up with him, later revealing that he was lying.

CNN was interviewing voters who had just finished voting in the swing state when they interviewed a man named Bryan Flores, who opted to vote for Harris.

“So, I wasn’t going to vote at all until my girlfriend was blowing up my phone, telling me to go vote,” Flores said. “And if I didn’t, she was going to break up with me, so now I’m here.”

When pressed on if his girlfriend was serious, Flores admitted he “made that up” simply because “it’s funny to say that.” He did confirm that his girlfriend asked him to vote for Harris.
