WATCH: “It’s Disgusting… She Should be Thanking Them” – Tom Homan Slams Rep. McIver for Smearing ICE Agents Following Indictment, Says “More Deportations” Incoming Amid SCOTUS Ruling Revoking Aliens’ Protected Status

Border Czar Tom Homan spoke to The Gateway Pundit on Tuesday at the White House following the indictment of LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE agents at the Delaney Hall Detention Center.

Democrat New Jersey Congress Representatives McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Robert Menendez stormed into the ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, earlier this month and engaged in a physical altercation with federal agents.

Video from the incident clearly shows Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver screaming at and physically assaulting federal agents by shoving them and hitting them with her body repeatedly. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was also there, fighting for the release of dangerous criminal aliens.

Barakas was arrested during the incident.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, LaMonica McIver was charged for assaulting ICE agents, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba announced on Monday evening.

“No one is above the law — politicians or otherwise,” Alina Habba said when announcing the charges for “assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement.”

McIver released a statement on Tuesday, claiming the charges are “purely political” and “meant to criminalize and deter legislative oversight.” She further attacked ICE agents, asserting that they “created an unnecessary and unsafe confrontation when they chose to arrest Mayor Baraka.”

Similarly, Bonnie Watson Coleman claimed that they were denied access and launched into a profane, race-baiting tirade. “Bullsh*t!” she exclaimed when asked why they stormed the facility. She further blamed "White supremacists."

Homan called these smears "disgusting" and noted, "the tape speaks for itself."

As seen in the footage from the scene, McIver, wearing red, clearly attacked agents in an attempt to interfere with the arrest of Mayor Barakas. Now, she wants to say that it's the ICE agents' fault.

"While these people are sitting home at night and sleeping in their beds nice and comfortably, the men and women of ICE are on the street, putting their lives on the line to arrest public safety threats and national security threats," he added. "She should be thanking them for making her community safer, rather than attacking them."

Homan also commented on Monday's SCOTUS ruling, which lifted a lower court’s block on President Trump’s order to revoke ‘protected status’ for 350,000 Venezuelan aliens living in the U.S., saying it will allow the administration to carry out "more deportations."

"If they don't have any status to be in the country, that means they need to be deported," he said.

WATCH:

Conradson: LaMonica McIver blamed ICE agents for creating a “unnecessary and unsafe condition” at the ICE facility. Bonnie Watson Coleman blamed white supremacy for the incident. What's your response to that?

Homan: It's disgusting. While these people are sitting home at night and sleeping in their beds nice and comfortably, the men and women of ICE are on the street, putting their lives on the line to arrest public safety threats and national security threats. She should be thanking them for making her community safer, rather than attacking them. It's disgusting they would compare them to White supremacists. It's just disgusting. Look at the tape. The tape speaks for itself.

Conradson: The Supreme Court has ruled that the administration can strip the temporary protected status of 350,000 Venezuelans. How would that help you guys with interior enforcement operations?

Homan: We're going to have more deportations. If they don't have any status to be in the country, that means they need to be deported.
