Democrats had their long knives out for FBI Director Kash Patel on Capitol Hill following the assassination of Charlie Kirk by one of their own last week. But unfortunately for them, Patel came ready and left them humiliated one by one.

As Fox News reported, Patel appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee for an annual oversight hearing of the FBI on Tuesday morning. He has come under fire for his initial handling of the Kirk assassination.

During the hearing, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) attempted to ambush Patel during his interrogation on various matters, including the Epstein Client and the recent FBI firings. But as one will see, Durbin was no match for a well-prepared Patel.

“DOJ and FBI left behind an unsigned memorandum stating there is no incriminating client list,” Durbin said. “Why was this memorandum unsigned?”

Instead of getting stumped, Patel responded with a pithy quote that brought back memories of the Biden autopen scandal.

“Would you have preferred I used autopen?” Patel retorted.

This response stunned Durbin, who was struggling for words.

“Did…Why was that…,” he began before Patel interrupted.

“The memorandum had the insignia of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation…We conducted an exhaustive search of everything related to the Epstein cases,” Patel responded.
