WATCH LIVE: Biden addresses terrorist attacks in Israel

President Joe Biden is delivering remarks on the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.

Biden is expected to begin speaking from the White House at 1 p.m. This will be Biden’s second speech addressing the attacks in Israel, which began on Saturday.

The president released a lengthy statement on Monday describing the conflict in Israel as “heart wrenching” and announced that there were at least 11 Americans killed by Hamas terrorists over the weekend. He also added that it is “likely that American citizens may be among those being held by Hamas.”

The White House was lit up in blue and white on Monday night in solidarity with Israel. Israel declared war against Hamas, the first time it had declared war since 1973, shortly after the attacks on Saturday. The conflict has killed at least 1,800 people on both sides since the first terrorist attacks by Hamas, according to the Associated Press.
