President Joe Biden will deliver his first 2024 campaign speech in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, on Friday afternoon.

The president will speak in his home state at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, marking the third anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, where then-President Donald Trump’s supporters rallied against the certification of Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said Trump’s threat to America’s democracy has only grown since 2020.

“Our message is clear and it is simple: We are running a campaign like the fate of our democracy depends on it. Because it does,” Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.

Biden is slated to deliver his remarks near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, at 3:15 p.m. EST.
