President Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver remarks about an executive order limiting border crossings at 2 p.m. at the White House. The order will restrict the number of asylum-seekers allowed in the country.

Once the daily number of encounters hits 2,500, those trying to cross the border will be sent back to their home countries and told to wait until the daily average goes down before they can return to claim asylum.
