President Joe Biden is discussing abortion in a meeting with his task force on “Reproductive Healthcare Access” on the 51st anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade.
Biden is set to begin speaking at 2:15 p.m. EST from the White House.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned in the 2022 Supreme Court decision, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, laws regarding abortion have been deferred back to states, and Biden’s campaign has made abortion a key part of his reelection pitch.
The Biden administration has mainly utilized Vice President Kamala Harris to make its push on the matter. Harris is speaking in Wisconsin on Monday as part of her “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour.
