President Joe Biden is delivering remarks on the federal government’s response to Hurricane Milton, which tore through Florida overnight.

Biden is scheduled to begin speaking from the White House at 2 p.m. EDT.
Hurricane Milton made landfall at roughly 8:30 p.m. EDT Wednesday evening in Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3. It made its way northeast through the Sunshine State overnight before leaving Florida on Thursday morning.
