First lady Melania Trump is hosting an awards ceremony for the inaugural Presidential Artificial Intelligence Challenge at the White House.
The AI contest is designed to inspire young students and teachers to “create AI-based innovative solutions to community challenges while fostering AI interest and competency,” according to the White House’s AI-focused website.
The first lady announced the challenge last August, saying it’s the “first step in preparing our next generation with a base understanding of this important new technology.”
The event is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
