WATCH LIVE: Officials hold briefing after Brown University shooting suspect found dead

Law enforcement and local officials are holding a press conference to provide updates after the suspected gunman in the Dec. 13 Brown University shooting was found dead in a New Hampshire storage unit.

The shooting left two students dead and nine others injured after the gunman opened fire on an economics final exam study session. Authorities had been searching for the shooter ever since.

The investigation gained momentum over the last 24 hours after law enforcement identified the person of interest. Investigators were also probing a possible connection between the Brown University shooting and the shooting death of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor that occurred on Monday evening, according to multiple sources.

Gov. Dan McKee (D-RI), Providence Mayor Brett Smiley, the Providence Police Department, and law enforcement partners are leading the press briefing.
