President Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel will deliver a press conference together in the Oval Office this afternoon.
The topic of the presser remains unclear at this time, but this comes as the Trump Administration has said it is investigating and planning to take action against the violent leftwing terror network, Antifa.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed to The Gateway Pundit last week that the Trump Administration is “aggressively” investigating the Soros and far-left terror-sponsoring organizations that are funding Antifa and violent riots in liberal cities like Portland and Chicago.
The FBI, Homeland Security, and even the Treasury Department are looking into the finances of the groups, said Leavitt.
Attorney General Pam Bondi, Director Patel, and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem later decried Antifa as a “terrorist group” and vowed to take them down following a roundtable on Antifa event with President Trump.
“They are an organized, systemic, international criminal enterprise, and what the FBI is going to do is trace the money, follow the funds, and find every single person that was involved in funding the riots and the violent acts of criminality that they’re perpetrating on our streets,” Patel said in a video shared by the White House.
Additionally, this week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the federal government, through the Treasury and IRS, is actively ‘following the money’ behind the networks funding ANTIFA-linked groups and other radical organizations involved in coordinated domestic violence.
It is still unclear whether they will be discussing Antifa or a different topic.
The press conference is scheduled to begin at 3 pm ET.
