WATCH LIVE: President Trump Makes Oval Office Announcement

President Trump will address the nation from the Oval Office this afternoon and make an announcement related to the Department of Defense.

“The president will be making an exciting announcement related to the Department of Defense,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

This is the only event on his public schedule today.

Meanwhile, the President is still planning federal law enforcement operations and potentially weighing National Guard deployment in Chicago, Illinois, where at least 14 have been killed and nearly 100 injured in shootings over the last two weekends.

“Chicago is the worst and most dangerous city in the World, by far. Pritzker needs help badly, he just doesn’t know it yet,” the President said on Truth Social this morning.

“I will solve the crime problem fast, just like I did in DC. Chicago will be safe again, and soon. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

At least 54 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, 8 people were killed. The last two weekends were similar. Chicago is the worst and most dangerous city in the World, by far. Pritzker needs help badly, he just doesn’t know it yet. I will solve the crime problem fast, just like I did in DC. Chicago will be safe again, and soon. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

While his announcement will relate to the Department of Defense, and seemingly not Chicago, the President is expected to speak about his plan to solve the violent crime issue amid plans to execute a massive immigration operation with hundreds of Homeland Security agents in Chicago.

The President is scheduled to make his announcement at 2 pm ET, but the press pool has been informed that he is running behind schedule.

Jordan has played a critical role in exposing fraud and corruption in Arizona’s elections and elected officials. His reporting on election crimes in Maricopa County led to the resignation of one election official, and he was later banned from the Maricopa County press room for his courage in pursuit of the truth. TGP and Jordan finally gained access after suing Maricopa County, America’s fourth largest county, and winning at the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
