Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is delivering his annual State of the State address before the Florida legislature in Tallahassee.

DeSantis’s address is expected to begin at 11 a.m. EST from the Florida State Capitol.

The address comes as the Florida legislature begins its 2024 regular session, and DeSantis is less than a week away from the first deciding contest of the 2024 Republican presidential primaries, with the Iowa caucuses.

During the 2023 regular session, lawmakers passed major bills on abortion and education, among other key topics.
