Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe Jr. is holding a 2 p.m. news briefing on the assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump.
On July 13, a gunman perched on a roof shot Trump in the ear, injured two people, and killed another at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania.
