President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump are attending a commemorative ceremony for the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the Defense Department.

The ceremony is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m.

Thursday marks the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. One of the hijacked planes hit the Pentagon, killing 184 people.
