Former President Donald Trump is holding a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, his first since rallying supporters during a packed-out rally at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.
Trump is set to address the media at 10 a.m. He will likely field questions from reporters about a joke a comedian made at his Madison Square Garden rally about Puerto Rico, which launched a media firestorm as some critics found it offensive.

Making brief remarks at the rally, at which roughly 75,000 people waited in overflow outside the venue, former first lady Melania Trump made a rare appearance to support her husband.
