Former President Donald Trump is holding a town hall in Fayetteville, North Carolina, roughly a week after the western part of the state was battered by Hurricane Helene.
The town hall is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern time.

The Tar Heel State is a critical battleground state in the November presidential election between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. North Carolina is rated as a “toss up” by the Cook Political Report, and Trump leads Harris, 49%-48.4%, in the RealClearPolitics polling average in the state.
Fayetteville is home to Fort Liberty, formerly called Fort Bragg, which is home to tens of thousands of military personnel.
