White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a press briefing alongside National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.

The briefing from the White House is expected to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern time.

Jean-Pierre and Kirby will take questions from the media a day before President Joe Biden speaks at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, to mark the third anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The speech was originally scheduled for Saturday, the exact anniversary date, but was moved up a day due to expected inclement weather.
