WATCH LIVE: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Delivers Press Briefing – 1 PM ET

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivers press briefing on May 29, 2025, following a Court of International Trade ruling that Trump Liberation Day Tariffs exceed Presidential authority

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will deliver a press briefing today at 1:00 pm ET.

Today’s briefing comes amid the ongoing battle between the Trump Administration and multiple courts.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, A court battle over President Trump’s tariffs is playing out in a district court, a federal appeals court, and the Court of International Trade.

A federal appeals court last Thursday temporarily reinstated President Trump’s tariffs after the Court of International Trade in New York said President Trump exceeded his authority to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA).

The Trump Administration immediately appealed the federal court’s permanent injunction last Wednesday evening.

In a separate federal court last Thursday, an Obama-appointed judge ruled Trump’s tariffs are unlawful.

The Trump Administration appealed Thursday’s ruling, and the case will go before a DC Circuit Court of Appeals panel with all Trump nominees.

Last week, Leavitt decimated the rogue Court of International Trade judges, who she said "brazenly abused their judicial power to usurp the authority of President Trump to stop him from carrying out the mandate that the American people gave him."

She is expected to address the ongoing court battles this afternoon in addition to other topics like the recent terror attack in Boulder, Colorado.

Jordan Conradson, formerly TGP’s Arizona correspondent, is currently on assignment in Washington DC. Jordan has played a critical role in exposing fraud and corruption in Arizona's elections and elected officials. His reporting on election crimes in Maricopa County led to the resignation of one election official, and he was later banned from the Maricopa County press room for his courage in pursuit of the truth. TGP and Jordan finally gained access after suing Maricopa County, America's fourth largest county, and winning at the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Conradson looks forward to bringing his aggressive style of journalism to the Swamp.
