WATCH: Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) Joins Arizona Gov Katie Hobbs in Opposing Trump Border Measures – This is Why They Couldn’t Let Kari Lake Win Governor and Senate Races

Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who questionably won the Arizona Senate race against Kari Lake, recently came out in opposition to Trump’s border policies on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, stating that we don’t need to deport the millions of illegal immigrants who came across the border under Biden and Kamala.

Gallego even claimed that if Trump gets his way, the military will be “used against U.S. citizens.”

This comes after Trump confirmed on Monday that he will declare a ‘National Emergency’ on immigration and deploy the military to initiate mass deportations.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Katie Hobbs, who stole the 2022 Gubernatorial election from Kari Lake, declared that she will not comply with President Trump’s promised mass deportation policies during a border PR stunt.

Like Gallego, Hobbs fearmongered, claiming Trump’s border policies will “harm or terrorize our communities.”

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Vows to Defy Trump Administration’s Mass Deportation Policies

Apparently, the elections were rigged against Kari Lake in Arizona so that open-border Democrats would be installed to keep business going for the cartels.

As The Gateway Pundit readers know, Kari Lake was running as the Trump-endorsed candidate for governor and led by double digits in the polls leading up to election day. But the fix was in, and on election day, 60% of the machines in Maricopa County failed to tabulate votes, creating four-hour-long wait times and disenfranchising thousands, if not tens of thousands of voters. Hobbs, who was Secretary of State at the time of the election, was responsible for overseeing this debacle, along with the hundreds of thousands of fraudulent mail-in ballots with no chain of custody documentation or signature verification.

Running for Senate this election cycle, Kari Lake, despite having a massive lead in Republican early ballot returns and leading in polls near election day, supposedly lost another statewide election—the same one where Trump and Republicans dominated up and down the ballot. The Gateway Pundit reported on the bogus numbers from Maricopa County that began coming in right when it was believed Lake would take the lead in the race.

Additionally, they started increasing the number of votes received after election day in the counties of Pima and Yuma, and Cochise County faced bizarre machine malfunctions following supposed bomb threats. The Democrat Secretary of State attributed these bizarre threats to Russia.

It was further revealed that Maricopa County's top election official, Stephen Richer, is a self-proclaimed “anti-MAGA” individual whose life mission, in his own words, is to “make life hell for Kari Lake.” Ruben Gallego is also a neighbor and friend of Stephen Richer, as Gallego revealed in several interviews.

Even Mika Brzezinski was surprised that Gallego won his race "despite the fact that Trump beat Kamala Harris there by five and a half points," noting that he far-outperformed Harris, "particularly with Latino men, a group that nationwide favored Trump."

When asked how he pulled this off, Gallego didn't mention that he's friends with Maricopa County's top election official, who hates Kari Lake and wants to "make life hell" for her. Instead, he admitted to temporarily rebranding himself to pander to voters in the Latino community who were feeling the effects of Biden and Kamala's failed policies, but clearly, that's not going to last, and he's back to his radical open-border policies.

Gallego then decried Trump's plan to use the military to protect our country and said he only wants to deport "some of these illegal immigrants that do have criminal backgrounds and are dangerous."

Kari Lake slammed Gallego and the fake news media in an X post, remarking, "He was Trump’s biggest obstacle in Congress, & he’ll be the same in the Senate."

Reporter: President-elect Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, “True” in response to someone's comments here that the administration will be preparing to declare a national emergency and will use military assets as part of its mass deportation program. Can you give us your reaction to that, which would be a remarkable escalation in use of power?

Gallego: Well, look, I don't think Arizonans or Americans, in general, want to replace the chaos at the border with chaos in our communities, and the idea that soldiers are going to be carrying out these types of deportations, I think, number one, it's just not something that we in the United States are used to seeing. Number two, you'll actually really diminish the scope and the trust people have for our military forces when they're being used against U.S. citizens potentially too; let's not forget that we have a lot of mixed families. You know, I think there's proper ways for all of us to work together. I think there is a loud, clear message that people are unhappy with the security at the border. I think with due process and with actually following our American values, we can have both a secure border. We can actually make sure that we get rid of some of these illegal immigrants that do have criminal backgrounds and are dangerous, but involving the military is not going to make us a stronger country, and I think it's a very dangerous situation that the President potentially will be putting our military and our military readiness, as well as what people believe the military is to the United States.
