WTH: Woman Loses it, Strips Naked During Episode on Southwest Flight (VIDEO)

A woman on a Southwest flight to Phoenix, Arizona, from Houston, Texas, Monday was delayed from takeoff after a female passenger began shouting, running down the aisle, jumping near the cockpit, then removing her clothes.

It is unclear what prompted the freak-out, but the woman was transported to a mental clinic after the incidents. No charges were filed.

Per NBC:

A Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Phoenix was forced to return to the gate after a passenger stripped naked and began screaming before takeoff on Monday afternoon.

The flight from Hobby Airport in Houston was delayed for over an hour, KPNX reports.

The Houston Police Department said in a statement to NBC News on Thursday that it received a call at 3:30 p.m. CT on Monday that “a passenger took off her clothes on a flight and was causing a disturbance.”

The woman was removed from the flight and transported to the NeuroPsychiatric Center at the Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital in Houston for medical evaluation, police said.

This incident is reminiscent of Tiffany Gomas, who was on a flight from Fort Worth to Orlando, Florida, when she began yelling on the plane frantically that the plane was going down.

“I’m getting the f*ck off. And there’s a reason why,” she says, pointing down the aisle to the back of the plane. “I am telling you right now, that motherf*cker, that motherf*cker back there is NOT REAL!”
