WWII veteran tells RNC he’d ‘reenlist today’ if Trump was his Commander-in-Chief – Washington Examiner

World War II and D-Day Veteran Sgt. William Pekrul drew a standing ovation as he told the Republican National Convention crowd that with former President Donald Trump “back in Commander-in-Chief, I would go back and reenlist today.“

Pekrul added that he would also “storm whatever beach my country needs me to.”

The WWII veteran also shared memories of his days fighting overseas and witnessing “the horror of the Nazi’s war camps.” He said he and his fellow service members “gave thanks to almighty God for delivering us from evil.”
