GET YOUR POPCORN READY: “P*ssed Off” Democrats Unleash on Nancy Pelosi Over Her Latest Comments as the Party’s Civil War Begins
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is refusing to shut up and go away, sparking the beginning of the Democratic Party’s all-new civil war.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Pelosi filed for reelection in 2026, continuing her never-ending quest for political power. This follows a summer where she successfully bullied Biden out of the race with overt threats and leaks to the corporate media.
Her scheme backfired, and President Trump was re-elected in a landslide victory over Kamala Harris. Now, Democrats are getting fed up with her.
Axios reported Friday that some of Pelosi’s fellow House Democrats are “p*ssed off” over her latest comments undermining Biden and humiliating the party as a whole. Pelosi told the far-left New York Times in an interview last Thursday that the Democratic Party would have been better off if Sleepy Joe had ditched his re-election campaign sooner and the party had then held an actual contest to replace him rather than coronating Kamala Harris.
“Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” Pelosi told Lulu Garcia-Navarro, a host of “The Interview,” a Times podcast. “The anticipation was that, if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary.”
When asked about Pelosi’s comments, unnamed House Democrats minced no words, ripping her to shreds. One even said Pelosi should “take a seat.”
From Axios:
House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is ticking off some House Democrats for publicly opining on what her party did wrong in 2024.
“She needs to take a seat,” said one senior Democratic lawmaker.
“Making scattershot comments is not just unhelpful, it’s damaging,” said the lawmaker.
“Hakeem has been tremendously graceful and respectful of her, but I don’t think she is being respectful of him,” said a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.
According to Axios, the Democrats’ anger has been further piqued by Pelosi’s promise to go away quietly when she lost the gavel less than two years ago.
“My advice to my fellow Democrats is simple: Follow the leader. Hakeem Jeffries has done a great job,” Pelosi said in 2023.
“I understand that this is a difficult transition for her, not being the leader, but she is not,” the member of the Congressional Black Caucus told the outlet. “She needs to understand what her new role is.”
How ironic it would be if one of the GOP’s most formidable opponents for years inadvertently became one of their most indispensable allies. Let’s hope Pelosi keeps talking.
