Here’s how to get tickets to this year’s National Christmas Tree Lighting

Thanksgiving may be the main attraction right around the corner, but those ready to begin their Christmas festivities can do so by entering a raffle for the annual National Christmas Tree Lighting.
The event will mark the 101st lighting ceremony of the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C., scheduled for Nov. 30. Those who wish to enter the raffle can do so starting Nov. 1, with the window to enter closing on Nov. 8. The raffle can be entered either online or by calling 877-444-6777.

Winners of the raffle will be announced on Nov. 15.
While the raffle is for tickets to the lighting ceremony, anyone who wishes to see the Christmas tree can visit it once it opens to the public on Dec. 2.

It is not yet known what musicians will be featured at this year’s ceremony. Last year’s ceremony was hosted by LL Cool J, his second consecutive year hosting the lighting.
Other musical artists who attended the lighting have included Shania Twain, Joss Stone, Andy Grammer, and Gloria Estefan.
