President Joe Biden will address world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Tuesday.
The U.N. General Assembly is addressing sustainable development goals this week. It will meet throughout the week to discuss global finance, health, climate change, and the war in Ukraine, among other topics.

Biden is among several world leaders who are appearing at the U.N. General Assembly this week. However, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be absent from assembly proceedings.

The president is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the week.
Biden’s speech before the U.N. General Assembly will begin at about 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
